Taking a Screenshot

The process of taking a screenshot on your device varies slightly depending on what you've got. We have listed the most common devices below, which we hope will help.

 

Windows 10

  • Press Windows logo key Shift S.

  • Select the area that you want to take a screenshot of.
  • The screenshot will then be copied onto your clipboard. This means that you can paste it in into an email, document, or whatever is relevant to your task.

 

Windows 11

  • Press the Prt Sc key on your keyboard (see below if you're not sure where!)
  • Select the area that you want to take a screenshot of.
  • The screenshot will then be copied onto your clipboard. This means that you can paste it in into an email, document, or whatever is relevant to your task.
