Fixing File Issues When Copying from an iPad to Windows

If you have trouble copying photos or videos from your iPad to a Windows computer, it might be because of the file format. You can change a setting on your iPad to fix this.

How to Change the File Format on Your iPad

1. Open Settings

   • Tap the Settings app on your iPad.

2. Go to Camera Settings

   • Scroll down and tap Camera.

3. Change the Format

   • Tap Formats.
   • Choose Most Compatible instead of High Efficiency.

This will make sure new photos and videos are saved in a format that works better with Windows.

If you already have files in the old format, you may need to convert them.
